Jumping To A Conclusion
I, first, would like to apologize for my lack of posting lately. Sometimes life can get in the way.
My thoughts……
Nidal Malik Hasan

TERRORIST!!!!!!
Too bad the Joke in Chief can’t admit this. Look at the evidence. The guy is a TERRORIST!!!!
Why can’t Obumbler admit this???? Because he doesn’t want to admit it happened on HIS watch.
What’s with this Pre Traumatic Stress Disorder crap….. PUHLEEEEEZE. Let’s not hold the a**wipe accountable for his actions, let’s think of some stupid off the wall psycho crap disorder to blame it on…. WTF????
Wouldn’t it be nice if, one day, the douche bags in the media would pull their heads out of Obama’s a** and actually report a story for what it is and stop making excuses for this laughable president and this ‘religion of peace’ they love so much……….

This sure did happen on Obama’s watch, but it could have been much worse. It’s not as if the worst terrorist attack on American soil happened on his watch…

Criminy Zach, are you really that dense?

If you want to go into the logistics of each attack and talk about why one attack was worse than the other as far as loss of life, that’s fine with me. The fact is when the first attacks happened Bush took ownership and was a leader. While this attack pales in comparison in the number of lives lost it’s still a terrorist attack and Obama has decided to go into “protect Islam” mode…. It’s rather disgusting.. He is NOT a leader… He’s a public speaker who has nothing to say.

Not a terrorist. The traditional purpose of terrorism is to show that the government cannot protect its citizens, to demonstrate that the organization has power and can attract adherents, and to strike fear into the fearful to make them more pliable.
This is one guy shooting other military men on a military base.
Yes, this was an ideological killing spree but it was not terrorism.
Ask Porter Goss what terrorism is, he is steeped in the use of it in Central and South America. Read about Luis Posada Carriles who blew up airplanes and tourist resorts. That is terrorism.
This guy acted alone upon his religious beliefs against the military. He may be a lot of things but he is not a terrorist. At one time he would have been called a religious fanatic.

I should add that Americans no longer use words as they are defined or traditionally described. We misuse words today because we want to exagerrate the horrific nature, or the significance, of something. Damn shame, in my opinion. We cheapen words when we do this.

Your definition contradicts your argument. The fact that a terrorist could infiltrate and take out members of the very military that has been commissioned to protect the citizens does fit your definition. What is a better show of strength, blowing up civilians or military?

You forgot to mention UNARMED……
So by your standards a homicide bomber who walks into a market filled with unarmed people is somehow NOT an act of terrorism? That kind of complacency is what leads to more incidents like this.

E,
A market is not a military base. And obfuscating the point between ‘unarmed people’ and civilians is disingenuous. Ask the Israelis what terrorism is and they will talk about suicide bombers on busses, about rockets sent willy-nilly into civilian areas, and about bombs left in cafes and nightclubs.
Don’t take my word for it. I point the way on this. A man with a gun on a rampage on a military installation is not terrorism. Oh, it is very fashionable to describe it as such; trendy and chic, too. But this Islamic-convert American is a religious fanatic that went on a killing rampage. No more than that.

By the way, you wrote: “Obama has decided to go into “protect Islam” mode”.
Care to comment on the seizing of Islamic assets in NYC this week? What is Obama protecting with that move?

Emails to Al Qaida. Ties to a radical Imam. Now reported ties to Pakistan…… Gosh you’re right PB. It doesn’t seem like a terrorist attack at all…….. Unbelievable…
