Number 5…… Jeff Wood Busted AGAIN

Jeff Wood has been busted for OWI for the 3rd time this year and 5th time overall.

JSOnline:

Jeff Wood, the state representative from Chippewa Falls who has been threatened with expulsion from the Assembly following two arrests within a year for driving while under the influence, was arrested again for OWI Wednesday.

The arrest was his second within four weeks.

Tomah police officers pulled Wood over about 4:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a motorist driving erratically, according to a news release from the department.

Before stopping Wood, officers said they saw the vehicle swerving and rolling over a curb. After being given a field sobriety test Wood was arrested for operating under the influence of an intoxicant or other drug (third-offense) and taken to the Monroe County Jail, the news release said.

Wood also is facing a charge of bail jumping for allegedly violating conditions of his bond release from the Columbia County Jail, where he was taken after being arrested in January for third-offense drunk driving and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Rep. Steve Nass has penned a resolution calling for Wood’s removal from the assembly. This needs to be done. Wood needs to held accountable for his actions and removal from the assembly is a good first step.

It will be interesting to see if lefty bloggers like the The Chief keep sidestepping the issue of Wood by posting useless stories comparing the actions of Steve Nass not cleaning up his toenail clippings to Wood’s repeated failure to follow state law.

I just saw video of Woods’ most recent bust on Greta. Did a snoop on YouTube, but the only one I found was from 9 months ago. I’ll keep looking though. :)
