President Borg’s pet project, ACORN, seems to have some new roles and responsibilities.
Here’s a brief synopsis:
Dudette buys a house for $87,000. Dudette refinances the original loan for $270,000. Dudette doesn’t pay mortgage. Bank forecloses on Dudette. Dudette files Chap13 and agrees to payments. Dudette doesn’t make payments. Bank says F..U.. and forecloses again booting the Dudette out. Bank sells house for $192,000 to somebody else. Dudette thinks she still has a right to the house. Dudette and a bunch of losers from ACORN break in to house and try to reclaim it. Charges are likely to be filed against losers from ACORN and hopefully Dudette….. The new owner is going to sue ACORN…. Heh……

Here’s how it’s reported at the Huffington Post:
In Baltimore, ACORN member Donna Hanks re-took her home. Foreclosed on last fall, the house has stood empty since then, a stark reminder of the failure of the system. But Donna joined with 30 ACORN Home Defenders to liberate her home from the bank. Her act of civil disobedience was covered by 2 radio stations, 2 TV stations, the Baltimore Sun, and the Huffington Post.
Donna used bolt cutters to break the lock to the door and re-enter the home. Unfortunately, in the six short months since the home was seized, it has been extensively damaged, essentially partially gutted. The toilets are missing, and the upstairs ceiling is badly damaged. The greatest tragedy here is that Donna worked for months with ACORN sister organization ACORN Housing Corporation to try to get the bank to modify the loan so it could be affordable, but they refused, taking the home and now allowing it to be a haven for squatters and a target of looters.
A haven for squatters and looters?? Is that what the left calls “HOMEOWNERS” now?

At least they managed to mention that the house had a new owner at the END of the story. Do you think they mentioned it to poor old delinquent Donna and her felonious friends when they were breaking in?
Michelle Malkin is predicting martyrdom for these losers. I can’t see any reason to disagree…

ACORN’s a bunch of losers who should be put out of business! If our government had the intelligence of a box of rocks, this would happen, but oh well…. it’s the government, and they’re just not the sharpest knives in the drawer!
