Motel 6 spokesman Tom Bodett is know for coming out of hiding every once in a while to record a commercial. Mayor of Milwaukee, Tom Barrett, is also known for hiding and poking his head out every once in a while to release some kind of statement. This weeks statement is that he’s going to put together a budget that, for the first time during his mayoral tenure, will NOT raise property taxes or user fees.

Do I have a problem with this???

Of course not. I’m all for holding the line on taxes.

The hillarious part of the story is that Mayor Tom Bodarrett said this wasn’t politically motivated. It has nothing to do with his run for governor…….. Not at all………. Seriously.

I was driving when I heard that statement on the radio this morning…… Damn near crashed from laughing so hard…

Charlotte McCourt from Las Vegas Nevada was a Loyal Harry Reid supporter.

Charlotte passed away on July 8th at the age of 84.

Here’s part of Charlotte’s obituary:

“We believe that Mom would say she was mortified to have taken a large role in the election of Harry Reid to U.S. Congress. Let the record show Charlotte was displeased with his work. Please, in lieu of flowers, vote for another more worthy candidate.”

Charlotte WAS a loyal Harry Reid supporter.

Too bad Charlotte will miss November…….
