Is Peggy West a product of MPS? One could only come to that conclusion when you hear what is probably the most ignorant statement made about Arizona EVAHHHHHHHH!!!!
It is also noted that dear Peggy graduated from MATC…. Something esle to remember next time they raise your taxes.
You folks in Milwaukee must be soooooooooo proud of the people you elect to public office.
Man I just love the smell of terrified liberals in the morning…
It would seem Sarah and Todd Palin have a new neighbor up in Alaska…..
NY Daily News:
Sarah Palin can see the neighbor from hell from her house – and we’re not talking Russia.
The Tea Party darling learned Monday she was living next-door – a distance of about 15 feet – to nemesis Joe McGinniss, a no-holds-barred author who is writing an exposé about her.
Palin made the discovery after dispatching her husband, Todd, to “introduce himself to the stranger who was peering in” from her neighbor’s deck in Wasilla, Alaska.
“He’s rented the place for the next five months or so,” Palin wrote on Facebook yesterday. “He moved up all the way from Massachusetts to live right next to us – while he writes a book about me.”
Palin said she expects it to be “a doozie.”
“Wonder what kind of material he’ll gather while overlooking Piper’s bedroom, my little garden and the family’s swimming hole?” she wrote.
It’s all they can do to dig up dirt on a FORMER candidate for VP and current Fox News Analyst.
So Connecticut AG and Democrat candidate for Senate, Richard Blumenthal, say he “MISSPOKE” about his service in Vietnam. In fact he said he “MISSPOKE” on SEVERAL OCCASIONS about his service in Vietnam…..
Let’s enter the Silent E classroom of G.O.T.O. to find out what really happened here.
According to Wikipedia the definition of “MISSPEAK” is:
According to Wikipedia the definition of “LIE” is:
a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, protect someone’s feelings or to avoid a punishment or repercussion for one’s actions. To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one does not honestly believe to be true with the intention that a person will take it for the truth.
What Blumenthal said:
“We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam.”
We all know that Blumenthal recieved 5 deferments and ended up in the Marine Reserves. He never left the North American continent officially as a Marine Reservist.
Blumenthal’s expanation:
“On a few occasions, I have misspoken about my service, and I regret that, and I take full responsibility,” Blumenthal said, surrounded by veterans. “But I will not allow anyone to take a few misplaced words and impugn my record of service to our country.”
On a few occasions????? So he MISPOKE more than once?
WAIT!!!!! What was the definition of “MISSPEAK” again?
I understood completely what Blumenthal said as did everyone else on the planet. He pronounciation of the words that he uttered were perfectly clear and even repeated ON A FEW OCCASIONS……
At a ceremony honoring veterans and senior citizens who sent presents to soldiers overseas, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut rose and spoke of an earlier time in his life.
“We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam,” Mr. Blumenthal said to the group gathered in Norwalk in March 2008. “And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it — Afghanistan or Iraq — we owe our military men and women unconditional support.”
There was one problem: Mr. Blumenthal, a Democrat now running for the United States Senate, never served in Vietnam. He obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war, according to records.
In an effort to try to raise a little bit of revenue, some airlines are charging passengers for carry on luggage. Right on cue, the democrats want to pass a law prohibiting the airlines from doing so….
Airlines would be prohibited from charging fees for carry-on bags, according to U.S. Senate legislation introduced to counter a new luggage fee of up to $45 at the low-cost carrier Spirit.
The bill’s sponsors — the Democrats Benjamin Cardin of Maryland and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana — said carry-ons often contain personal items that are ‘‘important for the safety and health’’ of travelers, including medication, personal care products and eyewear.
Spirit announced this month that it would charge up to $45 for carry-on luggage stowed in overhead compartments and would decrease base fares by a similar amount. Spirit is also decreasing checked-bag fees. The changes take effect for travel starting Aug. 1.
Why do the dumocrats feel it necessary to jam their stinky little fingers into every aspect of our lives? Can somebody PUHLEEEASE explain this to me?
I have an idea…. If you don’t want to pay the fee, don’t fly on that particular airline. If they all start charging, why don’t you drive or take your precious choo choo to your destination.
Go to any liberal blog site or news outlet and find out what they’re saying about TEA Party events and participants… RACIST!!! BIGOTS!!!!!HATERS!!! That’s a small sample of what they write or say. Of course they have never been to a TEA Party to see what really goes on because it’s easier to just get your talking points from your myopic party and march. That’s what liberals do.
Let’s see what a lefty says when he goes to a TEA Party just to observe….
Here are snippets from News Busters of a column by the Washington Post’s very own liberal Robert McCartney…
I went to the “tea party” rally at the Washington Monument on Thursday to check out just how reactionary and potentially violent the movement truly was.
Answer: Not very.
Based on what I saw and heard, tea party members are not seething, ready-to-explode racists, as some liberal commentators have caricatured them.
…I differ strenuously with the protesters on about 95 percent of the issues.
Nevertheless, on the whole, they struck me as passionate conservatives dedicated to working within the system rather than dangerous militia types or a revival of the Ku Klux Klan.
Although shrinking government is their primary goal, many conceded that the country should keep Medicare and even Social Security. None was clamoring for civil disobedience, much less armed revolt.
…The rally, estimated in the tens of thousands, also displayed a wacky, irreverent spirit that I found endearing. I can’t help but smile when paunchy small-business owners aged 50 and older don three-cornered hats and hoist rattlesnake flags in exercising their First Amendment right to peaceably assemble.
At the protest, I mostly ignored the speakers so I could probe what the participants wanted and how they viewed the world. I interviewed 19, picked at random, in three hours.
I found that I agreed heartily with the tea partiers on what is perhaps their single biggest concern: that America’s swelling government debt seriously threatens our long-term prosperity.
Commentators on MSNBC and elsewhere have called the movement racist and likened it to the Klan.
…I didn’t see evidence of racism at Thursday’s rally. A sign read: “Not prejudiced. Not racist. Not violent. Not disenfranchised. Not silent anymore.”
WTF????? The liberal actually went and reported the TRUTH!!!!!! I didn’t think is was possible to use the words “liberal” and “truth” in the same sentence.
Wouldn’t it be nice if other liberals would take the time to research before writing??
Ahhh… won’t happen. McCartney has probably already been fired for not toting the libby line…
It would seem our current assemblyman from the 33rd was a bit too busy to read a bill before he signed on to co-sponsor it. The bill in question is AB-751 which was introduced on February 15th and is being fast tracked by democrats…… DEMOCRATS!!!!
The bill consists of language that authorizes the state to take place in a compact that would pledge Wisconsin’s electoral votes to the candidate who garners more votes nationally, not the winner of the popular vote in Wisconsin. This bill would effectively silence the majority of Wisconsin’s voters…….
Rep. Scott Newcomer signed on to this POS bill because he was possible too busy not paying attention to read it.
I am no longer in support of the bill. You are right that it does go around the constitution. It does keep the electoral college in place but weakens it to the point it is meaningless.
I pulled my name off of the bill yesterday and no longer support the idea. I rushed into putting my name on the bill and didn’t do the proper due diligence upfront. I made a mistake and now I am going to fighting against it!
You may want to sit down while watching this one… Chris Matthews actually buries The Screamer, Howard Dean, over the Massachusetts election…… This is too good.
YOU’RE BEING SILLY!!!!
Wow… The Screamer is almost as clueless as Obama when he blamed Bush for the democrat’s loss on Tuesday…
Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is not revealing the price tag of the congressional junket to Copenhagen…. Why should she care???? It’s not her money…
They were joined by 17 colleagues: Democrats: Waxman, Miller, Markey, Gordon, Levin, Blumenauer, DeGette, Inslee, Ryan, Butterfield, Cleaver, Giffords, and Republicans: Barton, Upton, Moore Capito, Sullivan, Blackburn and Sensenbrenner.
That’s not the half of it. But finding out more was a bit like trying to get the keys to Ft. Knox. Many referred us to Speaker Pelosi who wouldn’t agree to an interview. Her office said it “will comply with disclosure requirements” but wouldn’t give us cost estimates or even tell us where they all stayed.
***********
Senator Inhofe (R-OK) is one of the few who provided us any detail. He attended the summit on his own for just a few hours, to give an “opposing view.”
“They’re going because it’s the biggest party of the year,” Sen. Inhofe said. “The worst thing that happened there is they ran out of caviar.”
Our investigation found that the congressional delegation was so large, it needed three military jets: two 737′s and a Gulfstream Five — up to 64 passengers — traveling in luxurious comfort.
Add senators and staff, most of whom flew commercial, and we counted at least 101 Congress-related attendees. All for a summit that failed to deliver a global climate deal.
That’s a mighty big carbon footprint just for a chance to party with Pelosi…….. (Gosh…. That doesn’t even sound fun..)
I wonder when the folks in our government will notice that we’re having some economic problems here in the United States.
I was checking out the Weather Channel this morning to find out the progress of today’s episode of white death when WEATHERMAN Mike Bettes came on to give us some headlines…… News headlines.
In an overly cheerful and liberal voice he decried the victory in the senate reporting the passage of the health crap bill that nobody wants. While doing so, he noted that the passage of the bill finally put an end to a year long republican filibuster…..
Wh….What?
I promptly sent him a message explaining that the democrats basically have a super majority and it’s final passage was only made possible by Harry Reids ability to buy votes from member of his own party because the POS bill couldn’t pass on it’s own merits.
I wonder if I’ll get a reply?
I’m thinking Mike should just stick to getting the weather wrong and leave the news inaccuracies to the MSM…
When asked about the Senate Health Crap bill he says:
“This is the last thing we need, another $3 billion of spending when we already have a $20 billion deficit,” Schwarzenegger said of the costs the bill would impose on California.
“So I would say be very careful to the federal government before you go to bed with all this. Let’s rethink it. There’s no rush from one second to the next. Let’s take another week or two and come up with the right package.”
Okay…. That seems to make sense but in the same interview, The Governator’s brain apparently fell right out of his head… Here’s Arnold’s response to George Stuffinenvelope’s question on Global Warming and the fact that most Americans want the government to focus on the economy instead:
“We in California have proven it over and over that you can protect the economy, and you can protect the environment,” he said on “GMA.”
WOW… Really Arnold…… So out of one side of your mouth, California can’t afford 3 billion in new spending on health crap but then the other side of your pie hole says that California somehow has a stable enough economy to finance Gorebal Whining legislation…… With your 20 billion dollar debt…… They don’t have econ classes in Austria, do they?
World leaders and VIPs began pouring into Copenhagen Monday morning for the city’s long-awaited climate summit, arriving in style in a fleet of gas-guzzling limos and luxury cars.
Most delegates to the climate change conference haven’t exactly been hoofing their way to Denmark’s capital, swarming the city’s airport with 140 private jets, 1,200 hired limousines and a carbon footprint the size of a small country.
Video shot on the scene Monday shows squads of new arrivals at the green gathering pulling up in BMWs, Mercedes Benzes, sleek Volvos and plush Jaguars. A bus reserved for the delegates rode along empty outside the conference center.
It amazes me how many sheep still take these losers seriously…..
